He’s one of the famous white wallabies of Bruny Island, photographed here by @tasphotos2015 after an early morning storm. These fascinating critters are part of a small population of Bennet’s wallabies that live in the safe-haven of South Bruny National Park. While they're often mistaken for being albino, their distinctive colourings can actually be attributed to a recessive gene in the local population.
