Hotels-live.com/pages/sejours-pas-chers - You'll feel a million miles from modern life when you glimpse the jagged dolerite peaks of Cradle Mountain across the mirrored waters of Dove Lake. It's a wilderness vision that draws travellers and photographers to World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park time and time again. The iconic boatshed on the northwestern shores of Lake Dove is photographer favourite and is easily accessible, along the Dove Lake circuit walk, in the shadow of Cradle Mountain. The boatshed was built in 1940 by the first Ranger at Cradle Mountain, Lionell Connell and is made up largely of King Billy pine. Although some restoration work has been done, the shed still remains from its original form and is a must-see for visitors to the park.
